(b) CRITE RI A .— I n conducting the study authori z ed under sub- section (a) , the Secretary shall use the criteria for the study of areas for potential inclusion in the National Park System contained in section 8 (c) of Public L aw 9 1 –3 83 (1 6U .S.C. 1a– 5 (c)). (c) R E PO RT.—Not later than 3 years after the date on which funds are made a v ailable to carry out this section, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on E nergy and Natural Resources of the Senate and the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives a report containing the findings, conclu- sions, and recommendations of the study conducted under sub- section (a). (d) A U T H ORI Z ATIO N O F APPROPRIATION S .— T here are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this section. SEC.7206 . GR EE NM C ADO OSC H OO L,T ENNESSEE. (a) IN G ENERA L .—The Secretary of the Interior (referred to in this section as the ‘ ‘Secretary ’ ’) shall conduct a special resource study of the site of Green M cAdoo School in Clinton, Tennessee, (referred to in this section as the ‘‘site’’) to evaluate— (1) the national significance of the site; and (2) the suitability and feasibility of designating the site as a unit of the National Park System. (b) CRITERIA.—In conducting the study under subsection (a), the Secretary shall use the criteria for the study of areas for potential inclusion in the National Park System under section 8(c) of Public Law 91–383 (16 U.S.C. 1a–5(c)). (c) CONTENTS.—The study authorized by this section shall— (1) determine the suitability and feasibility of designating the site as a unit of the National Park System; (2) include cost estimates for any necessary ac q uisition, development, operation, and maintenance of the site; and (3) identify alternatives for the management, administra- tion, and protection of the site. (d) REPORT.—Not later than 3 years after the date on which funds are made available to carry out this section, the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Natural Resources of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate a report that describes— (1) the findings and conclusions of the study; and (2) any recommendations of the Secretary. SEC. 7207. HARR Y STR U MAN BI RTH P LACE, MISSOURI. (a) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of the Interior (referred to in this section as the ‘‘Secretary’’) shall conduct a special resource study of the Harry S Truman Birthplace State Historic Site (referred to in this section as the ‘‘birthplace site’’) in Lamar, Missouri, to determine— (1) the suitability and feasibility of— (A) adding the birthplace site to the Harry S Truman National Historic Site; or
