This Page Is Littered With Typographical Errors
editMost people don't think it's important to proofread their work line by line. This page proves that it is indeed important.
Poetry is unlike prose: poetry with typos is worse than useless. It's upsetting. —unsigned comment by Samax Rex (talk) 14:55, 12 December 2020.
- @Samax Rex: I'm rather inclined to agree. @Slowking4: you created these pages over a year ago, but they're not in a fit state for transclusion as they stand (except the copyright page). Do you plan to proofread this work soon? Otherwise I can move it your your user area. Inductiveload—talk/contribs 19:06, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- those are the typical scan errors of a rough scan. i was hoping to get it into the poetry POTM. a year is a short time around here. please do not move works to user space; that is not a consensus process. see also Wikisource:Scriptorium/Archives/2011-11#Variance_to_a_rule_is_requested and Index:Ukpga 20000036 en.pdf--Slowking4 ⚔ Rama's revenge 19:35, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- At least use {{Transcluded OCR errors}} to mark it as such and place it on the relevant backlog, rather than just dumping it into mainspace unfinished and letting others find it and wonder what's going on. Inductiveload—talk/contribs 20:07, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
