@Beleg Tâl: There didn't seem to be any discussion at the link given, and I don't feel inclined to go through the archives. I would think the two could be merged. Seems like a good idea. Anyway I think things should be wound up somehow. I suggest taking away the banners if no conclusion was reached, and put a "see also" on both templates so people know about the two versions.
