Imperial Punch.

(One quart of punch.)

  • Take 1 bottle of claret.
  • Take 1 bottle of soda-water.
  • Take 4 table-spoonfuls of powdered white sugar dissolved in a little of the soda-water.
  • Take ¼ tea-spoonful of grated nutmeg.
  • Take 1 liqueur-glass of Maraschino.
  • Take About ½ pound of ice.
  • Take 3 or 4 slices of cucumber rind.

Put all the ingredients into a pitcher and mix well.
