Wikimedia is greatly concerned about copyright, and the English Wikisource uses US law. If it was published more than 95 years ago--that is, published in 1923 or earlier for 2019--then it will be fine here, though not necessarily at Commons. Life+70 is rarely an issue in US law, given that it only applies to works published after 1978 and really after 2002. And when claiming a license, please check that it follows the rules; both of the first two authors on "The Best plays of 1941-42" died less than 70 years ago.--Prosfilaes (talk) 13:21, 24 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
