Center vs block center

Hi (and welcome), I see you've centred some chunks of poetry. I wonder if the template {{block center}} would suit your purposes better? It puts the text in the centre of the page but retains the usual left alignment of the block of text. Have a look at A treasury of war poetry, British and American poems of the world war, 1914-1919/Australasia#The New Zealander this poem for an example of it in use.
