Deleted '2009 Nobel Peace Prize citation' edit

I believe that the citation is under copyright, so without a clear indication that it is able to be copied into the Public Domain, then it needs to be removed. From a quick investigation we see "All rights reserved." http://nobelprize.org/contact/copyright/index.html -- billinghurst (talk) 06:42, 10 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Did you miss the "Use of the press releases from the Nobel Foundation and the Nobel Prize-Awarding Institutions, with the exception of logotypes and Nobel Prize design marks ("the Nobel Prize medals") (see below)." under the "Permission in writing is not required for:" section? I request that the article be restored, as this is a press release and as such is specifically exempted by the Nobel Committee from their claim of copyright. We are only able to house works that are in the public domain, and use of the press releases is not specifically public domain. However, the link that Cyg found, will allow us to apply Template:PD-release, so that is now okay. Cyg restored the article. Thanks. -- billinghurst (talk) 00:11, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, glad to see it back, thanks. Tarc (talk) 00:34, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
The article is listed here. You would be welcome to contribute to this discussion. Let me know if I am able to clarify anything that has gone on in the meantime. Sorry for delay in response, I was just finishing a new work. Regards, Cygnis insignis (talk) 21:00, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
