Re: Running edit

Thought it might be a good idea to list books in the Running section with a wider range of page numbers. For example, as it stands, all four books listed are over 400pp, with the majority of the pages in each text yet-to-be-validated. It leaves (to me) the appearance of being a daunting task. Perhaps include a small work (<100pp) in the mix as well; and maybe even one from the "little works" page, and there might be more participation. I wouldn't mind substituting the Treasury of War Poetry (in Running) with one of the smaller works currently in Queue... Just a thought, Londonjackbooks (talk) 18:12, 2 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

BTW, the Centenary tribute to Poe (in Queue) is validated but for the problematic image pages. Should it be in this list? Londonjackbooks (talk) 18:15, 2 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

This one? edit

This would be a good one for people who’s keyboard doesn't have the ’e’ key. Index:Gadsby.djvu ~200 pages remaining to be validated. — Sam Wilson ( TalkContribs ) … 05:37, 13 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

How do we suggest books to add? edit

I would like to suggest Index:Buchan - The Thirty-Nine Steps (Grosset Dunlap, 1915).djvu (231+ pg) and Index:Myths and Legends of British North America.djvu (211 pages) as excellent choices, but since the page is protected it seemed back to just add them. —Canageek (talk) 22:01, 6 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Canageek:, the page is only semi-protected, so you should have no trouble adding items. I went ahead and added your first suggestion (I love the Hitchcock movie, but have not read the book!) -Pete (talk) 23:13, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Broken tool? edit

The link on the main page for "Alternatively randomly have a page selected that requires validation." leads to an HTTP 404. Is there a replacement, or should it just be removed? -Pete (talk) 23:07, 17 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

New random page tool edit

As the ‘Alternatively randomly have a page selected that requires validation.’ tool is not currently working, I propose that the link be changed to ‘Special:RandomInCategory/Not proofread’ (1). TE(æ)A,ea. (talk) 23:30, 12 September 2018 (UTC).Reply
