Is this a published work in either English or Hindi? Please note what what Wikisource includesbillinghurst sDrewth 19:13, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for encouraging and guiding me. I have edited the page as per your guide lines even then, if something has been left or requires improvement, please help me I will take care of. I am still learner in the age of 64. I type letters one by one so the mistakes may be there.

You have asked about me I am attached with Wikipedia from Feb 2011. Kindly guide me how to creat my User Page. Thanks Krantmlverma (talk) 04:21, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I asked whether this work has been published previously. If it has not been published previously, then Wikisource is not where the work should be. — billinghurst sDrewth 07:18, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yes Sir! this work of mine was published in the year 2004 on page 42 in the Srijan souvenir of Noida (India) edited by Pramod Mishra 'Nirmal'. Moreover it has also been published in my blog KRANT which may verified from http://krantmlverma.blogspot.com Krantmlverma (talk) 08:33, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

'Krant' M.L. Verma

edit

Sir! I have created a new page in my name i.e. 'Krant' M.L.Verma. Kindly check it and guide me what to next because it is not showing the references as a footnote. If the image file can be loaded I will uploade it but getting the confirmation from you. RegardsKrantmlverma (talk) 05:30, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have moved this page to the correct place User:Krantmlverma. Please edit it there and I will delete the duplicate copy just created. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 05:59, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Sir! I have added an Image :File Krant59.JPEG on en.wikisource through en.wikimedia specicial upload system (as I was provided the guideline on the edit system) today but inspite of my several efforts was not visible on the screen. Every time a cross (X) is seen over the image. I have tried from so many angles but all the times it was useless. Kindly help me if you can or tell me frankly I will never upload any image on en.wikisource or en.wikimedia. Please do help as I am very much fade up now. Many many thanks14.99.189.43 12:57, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Try :File:Krant59.jpg — billinghurst sDrewth 13:30, 24 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I fail to understand why this file is not being uploaded in spite of my several efforts/trials. Please guide me or speak frankly to leave the efforts. Thanks Krantmlverma (talk) 09:42, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Not sure what you mean. The file is loaded at Commons, and you can display it here by normal wikicode … gives . There is no need for you to have a copy uploaded to the local server, that is why Commons: exists. What else are you trying to do? — billinghurst sDrewth 11:03, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Dear Sir! I think the File:Krant59.jpg was either corrupt or some other technical problem was there. Hence I created another page in Wikimedia in the name of File:Dr.Krant.gif and the file was easily uploaded there. In this way I learned something from you. Excuse me for the trouble so caused to you. With all regardsKrantmlverma (talk) 14:13, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Self-portrait upload

edit

Pardon,

I see you are trying to upload another image not directly related to any project or work currently hosted on Wikisource. After a quick look over on Commons, I see you've been temporarily banned for attempting the same (re)upload there.

Without having done a full and complete review, I'm going to guess you are being frustrated as a Wiki_____ in good standing and cannot grasp why such a harmless self-portrait avatar is such a big deal.

The issue here is... while your "account" may be in good standing, your history shows nothing but positive participation and so on, there is no way to know for sure that you are really YOU in the image and not some other unsuspecting person or other contributor's work. Is this not a legitimate logical concern all 'round? Do you want the WikiWorld to de-evolve into forum for identity theft or online persecution of the merely-passing-thru?

Well there is a process in place that facilitates the establishment of one's identity without invading one's privacy. Read more about the OTRS process and the steps you need to take to accomplish your goal to the satisfaction of all the parties and/or issues involved HEREGeorge Orwell III (talk) 08:03, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Texts in Devangari script on English Wikisource

edit

Hi, I note that you are adding several poems in Hindi. This is the English Wikisource and they don't belong here. There is a Hindi Wikisource for works in Hindi. Please work with them to add these works with the appropriate releases. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 07:55, 2 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

HAY! I have shifted all the poems of Devnagri script to the Hindi Wikisource. You are requested to please see it and guide me further how to delete or redirect these Hindi poems. Thanks for your help.Dr.'Krant'M.L.Verma (talkEmail)Krantmlverma (talk) 09:48, 2 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Category:Bilingual poems

edit

A category you created has been proposed for deletion. You are invited to participate in the discussion at WS:DEL#Category:Bilingual poems. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 04:32, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

My Dear Mr Beeswaxcandle! I have this day removed the Honorific Word "Dr" from my auther's name. Kindly read it now as Author:Krant M.L.Verma and not Author:Dr.'Krant' M.L.Verma.
Further I have added licensing templetes to all the above article. One thing more to understand; where the original Author is Ram Prasad Bismil the Licensing Terms are given as: 1927 as the year of the death of Author Ram Prasad Bismil is 1927. And where I myself am the Author I have added the Licensing terms as: PD-Release.
You are requsted to please check these templates and remove the "Deletion tag of NO LICENSE" from these above articles.
So far as adding the Category:Bilingual poems is concerned, I think it would certainly help wikipedians as well as the viewers. Hence in my openion it would be better to KEEP this category here.
Thanks.--Krantmlverma (talk) 07:32, 16 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Reposting of deleted content

edit

Please desist from continually re-adding your work to the English Wikisource. There was a discussion held and it was decided that the poems do not belong here. This resulted in them being deleted. Putting them back will now result in speedy deleting as "G2 Reposted content", as happened with The Alternative. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 18:34, 16 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

We do not create author categories

edit

If there is something relevant to an author, we will either have a "Works about" section as explained at Wikisource:Style guide#Author pages or just links to the author page. I will be deleting the categories. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:24, 3 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
