Paragraphs

edit

Per the Manual of Style (points 4 and 5), we don't indent paragraphs. Instead we leave an extra linebreak between paragraphs. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 09:04, 10 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proofread

edit

Hi, please make sure pages are proofread before marking them as such, see e.g. [1]. This is not helpful, it gives a false sense of progress and hides low quality. Mpaa (talk) 07:51, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I have not honestly understood your comment. Do you mean I am not really proof reading or something else? Stellahk99 (talk) 08:43, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
You are really not proofreading. Typos are still there, formatting can be improved (see the syle guide). Mpaa (talk) 15:53, 13 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Do you think its really easy to see each and every typo? ok, when validating my work, you can disregard it so that i loose it all. I wish you knew how hard i try, great, thanks. I. think i can end my proof reading journey here. let me focus on validating wat others have proofread, hope ur now happy. Thanx Stellahk99 (talk) 11:16, 14 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
this page still contains obvious transcription errors. It should not be marked as Validated. Given the rate of your edits I expect I will find the same in the other pages of that work that you marked as Validated. Please do not do this. Xover (talk) 21:30, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
If you are having difficulties proofreading then please consider NOT advancing the proofreading status and leaving in the red. Simply do your edits, and save it. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:48, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Linebreaks

edit

Hi, when proofreading/validating we need you to remove end-of-line hyphens where a word is split between two lines. If you don't the text looks some- thing like that when transcluded, where it should look like something. While it is preferable to remove all the linebreaks in a paragraph, the important ones to remove are those with hyphens. Remember that we're providing a digital version of the text rather than replicating an exact version of the printed page. Thanks Beeswaxcandle (talk) 04:43, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Block

edit

If you continue to disregards warnings and do not comply with the process, I am going to block you for disruptive editing. Mpaa (talk) 09:30, 2 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

This and this is cannot be considered Validated. And was not difficult to find them looking at your contributions. You were warned but obviously you don't care. Mpaa (talk) 21:26, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
