Institutional Act Number Five
editHello. I hope that the links in the above Welcome message will help you to solve the issues. What we need most is the exact source where the work was taken from: a website, a book… The source should be given in the talk page. As for the licence, we need both the licence of the original text and the licence of the translation to English, they both have to be in the public domain. I suppose that the original text could be tagged using the template {{PD-EdictGov}}, but I am not sure about the translation. - I translated myself it with Google Chrome built-in translation feature, and then made a few corretions. I release my translation, if it is even copyrightable, under CC0, but i am not sure if Google copyrights would apply here. Thiago Rodrigues30 (talk) 22:41, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- I see. For such cases we have a special translation namespace, I have moved the page there, see Translation:Institutional Act Number Five. I also standardized the text so that it complies with our Style guide better.
- Can you please write the source that you have mentioned above also to the talk page of the work?
- The last thing to be done is placing the licence tags. Just copypaste the following to the bottom of the page:
{{translation license |original = {{PD-EdictGov}} |translation = {{PD-self}} }} - Then the no source and no licence templates can be removed.
