Extracting page from djvu

• ddjvu -verbose -page=31 -1 -format=ppm Various_Forces_of_Matter.djvu test.ppm
• ddjvu -verbose -page=31 -1 -mode=black -format=pgm Various_Forces_of_Matter.djvu test.pgm <-- pure black and white

Converting for Wikisource Book

• open with gimp
• select region
• image to selection
• select color/ fuzzy

• be carefull: no feather edges, no antialiasing

• delete
• repeat
• image --> grayscale
• adjust:

• levels or threshold ( for pure black and white )

• sometime autocrop

adding image to wikisource book

Another image template to consider

Hi, thank your for the work you've been doing on the images for Various Forces of Matter. Good image work is much appreciated. Another template you might need at some stage is {{img float}}. It's useful for the times when you don't want to break a paragraph, but the best place to drop in the image link is part-way through a paragraph. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 17:29, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
