Setting status to "done" too early

edit

Hi, I note that you've set the status for a few Indexes to "done" when they're still incomplete. An Index is only "done" when all the Pages have been validated (or have no content). If a page is still "problematic", then the Index is incomplete. Thanks, Beeswaxcandle (talk) 19:55, 24 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Explanation of rollbacks on Indexes

edit

Reiterating my message just above. If any page is marked as problematic, then the Index status must not be advanced. It must remain in the "To be proofread" status. All three Indexes you have just changed to "To be validated" have been reverted back to the correct status. Please stop advancing the status of Indexes until all pages have been proofread. <big> is a deprecated HTML tag: please use Template:Larger

edit

Hi! Just a quick note: please use {{larger}} instead of <big>, and {{center}} instead of <center>. Both of these tags are deprecated by web standards. Please see H:OLDMARKUP for more details. Thanks! Inductiveloadtalk/contribs 16:49, 15 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

index validation

edit

Hi. You validated the pages in Index:Famous Negro robber, and terror of Jamaica, or, The history and adventures of Jack Mansong.pdf. There are still some errors, but also print that is hidden by the binding. There is a similar publication at The history and adventures of Three-fingered Jack, the terror of Jamaica that has the pages splayed open, would it be agreeable to publish a transcript of the less problematic file instead?
