Portal:Medieval texts
This is an index of books or other texts from the Middle Ages (in English versions that may be linked to their original sources on other language wikis).
Medieval Texts covers all works originally written during the Middle Ages and early Renaissance; we can roughly define the period covered by this category to be about 600-1500 A.D. Texts written before that belong in Portal:Ancient and Classical texts.
Sometimes it is unclear whether a text should be considered "classical" or "medieval," especially because some texts continued to be revised, redacted and expanded over the course of many centuries, such that dating them becomes impossible. In case of doubt, upload the book in the category you think most readers would be most likely to look for it. This is no harm in listing it in both categories, if justified.
