2008-09 admin

AD has been active around Wikisource since May 2008, and has over 900 edits; most of these to the main namespace. He's a regular participant around WS:PD and WS:S, and would be able to help out further in such areas with admin tools. He's also added a great deal of poetry to Wikisource, and has helped clean up other texts, and the like, so he's got an understanding of how things work on the ground. AD has a good knowledge of copyright and is a Commons admin, so he could help out with image related stuff here to. Furthermore, he's an admin on EnWP and Meta, so he's been around for a while in general. He's civil, helpful, collaborative, and hard working. I think he'd make a good admin. Candidate's acceptance: Sure, I'll go for it. I would hope the community will review me honestly and constructively, and use this forum to express their thoughts on my activity here. I here accept with much gratitude to my nominator, who has written a splendid statement. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 07:51, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
